I've got the technique down. My problem is with the longevity of it. I'll do it Friday night and my Saturday night, It's chipped to high heaven and back. I like my manicures to last a few days at least, so what can I do to help it last longer? Am I being too active with my hands, maybe?Thanks!

when you want to marble your nails and its dries too fast, there are three things that you can do:
• Work faster so the polish has less time to dry.
• find a polish that dries slower. (the brand doesn't matter.)
• use warmer water because water too cold can freeze the polish and make it dry fast. try room temperature.

If you dont already, try using a top coat.i use revlon top coat and it last of about 4-5 days. Hope this helps :-)

instead of just dipping one finger, try two. uses up the nail polish in the water. it helps to make the process go by faster too. Just a tip(:

try just gliding the stick over the polish. dont put it so deep in the water that it picks up the polish. :)

It depends on the nail polish and the water. Some nail polishes are thicker than others making them attach to the stick instead of moving, the thinner the polish the better. Also if the water is too cold the polish will become thicker

Try using room-temperature water and good quality nail polish that doesn't dry really fast.

I had the same problem, these tips really helped me 1. Water MUST be room temp. Leave the water out overnight to be sure. 2. Polish has to been thin. I found the cheaper polishes actually work better here. 3. Pull from the inside layer to the outside. Don't mess with outer most layer( the first drop u put in).4. Use a stick with a sharp point.(toothpick, needle...) 5.Work fast! Have everything (tape, vaseline, polishes uncapped) ready before u start 6. Most glitter polishes dont spread as well

That's True! The Cheap Nailpolish Works Better! That's because they are Thinner and they Contain more Water! ;) I Used Nailpolish From a Dollarstore and the Costed me like 1 Dollar! It Was a 6 Pack With Orange, Blue, Green, Pink, Yellow and Red. Also Topcoat! Verry Cheap! ;)

I love this kind of designs!! you can give it the shape and style you want, but... I tried it and it didn't worked out... :/ the nail polish drop simply stayed at the bottom of the bowl and it didn't expand... T___T
